12 Negatives You Can Eliminate ‘With Gratitude’ – Part 2 of 3

In this article I am going to teach you how to adjust your reality to eliminate the negative feelings of Hate, Fatigue, Sadness and Lack from your life.

Gratitude has the power to eliminate Hate. Hate is a perceived reality.

Gratitude has the power to eliminate Fatigue. Fatigue is a perceived reality.

Gratitude has the power to eliminate feelings of Sadness. Sadness is a perceived reality.

Gratitude has the power to eliminate Lack. Lack is a perceived reality.

 

Take a look at these four very unique realities. They are all so different, yet they are all the same. What you look at and recognize as your “life” is your perceived reality. That means that what you are experiencing is “real” – according to you. What is real to you is not exactly real to someone else.

In my observations, Hate is one of the more complex realities people choose to live in. Hate is always a choice – whether we realize we are choosing it or not. Hate is not inherent; it is always taught and is sadly easier to pass to others than joy. Hate is such a strong feeling but it is also a very casual feeling. “I hate that shirt.” You might not loathe that shirt, but “hate” was just the word that came to mind because it is so readily available in our daily lives. Adjusting your choice of words to saying, possibly, “I don’t care for that shirt” instead of “hate” clarifies your intention just the same, without introducing such a terrible sentiment into the situation. Hate, when freely used, slips into our subconscious and dictates our beliefs about life circumstances as well as other people. “I hate them –they’re so…”; “I hate you when you say that…” “I hate when this happens!” Just having to write those examples was hard for me because I don’t have an ounce of hate in me. There was a time in my life, very early on, that the feelings of “hate” were in my life – but that was just because I didn’t understand the severity of my feelings and I couldn’t articulate exactly what I felt, nor did I understand why I felt that way.

Hate is present when one cannot appropriately articulate frustration that has stemmed from a lack of clarity.

Fatigue is a real thing; or is it? Sure, we all feel tired when our bodies require sleep; but what about feeling overall “life fatigue” all the time? If you do not lead a laborious life where you are constantly pushing your body to its limits, it can be hard to understand why you’d be confused as to why you’re always so tired. Fatigue is a lack of mental energy – the physical nature of energy through physiological expression is merely the personification of the mental processes. We hear people say things like, “I have to psych myself up for it” or “I’ll get there, I have to mentally prepare for this workout.” Why? Because the mind is formulating and summoning the necessary mental energy needed to perform a desired physical action – that’s why so many understand that they have to go within to get energized. “This song really pumps me up and gets me going!” Why? The mental energy that ignites the endorphins and rushes the adrenaline provokes the reaction for physiological response from the mind.

Overcoming fatigue is an inside job.

Sadness is a lack of happiness. To cure temporary sadness, even chronic sadness – the remedy is the same: the chronic OPPOSITE. If you disrupt feelings of overwhelming sadness with feelings of overwhelming happiness, happiness wins and sadness is defeated. This is the shortest segment of these four – it’s that simple. Replace the undesired with the desired and if you do it consistently enough, your life will change and sadness, the undesired, will leave you forever.

Replace the undesired with your new desires and your life will transform!

Finally, Lack is the absence of Abundance. To perceive that you do not have an abundance of anything is to acknowledge and affirm that you do indeed have LACK. Where there is Lack, there is only room for like thoughts and feelings – not room for Abundance to appear. For Abundance to appear, one has to acknowledge and affirm…Abundance. What we think about, multiplies. If your focus is Lack, you’ll get more of that. Who wants more of that?!

Create your ultimate life WITH GRATITUDE for your ABUNDANCE and YOUR LIFE WILL TRANSFORM!

He Who Angers You, Conquers You.

Officially and with gratitude, I wish you all a glorious 2017! This is my first post of 2017 and as I look at the date, this month is sailing by! I hope you took some time to enjoy your holidays and that you have been able to focus on your direction for this year. On Friday, January 13, I had the unique privilege to guest host The Networking Diva Hour with Janiece Carlson. To listen to the full show, click here. Janiece and her listeners are embarking on a Year of Gratitude – one of which I was honored to kick-off as her first co-host of 2017.

For a great many, 2016 was a tough year. While there’s no getting around it, we don’t have to continue to focus on it. So many of us find great solace and relief when we are able to remove the current calendar from the wall and put up a fresh, full, crisp display of potential. Out with the old and in with the new!

In the United States of America, we completed an election year that left most confused and bewildered, seeking guidance and support from everywhere except the primary location it should come from. It’s hard to support an elected official you don’t respect; especially when they’ve shown you at every turn that they are a walking, talking, demonstration of hatred and selfishness. That is not my opinion – that is a fact. What I will offer you, as my contribution of guidance and support for you (as well as myself in this very odd, often difficult situation) is a challenge.

As we know, nothing happens by accident. There are no coincidences. On a universal level, what has transpired and what continues to transpire is not just happening to Americans; it’s happening to the world. Americans are not on Earth alone, while it often feels that way given our geography and social programming – what we see and are exposed to via mainstream Media. My challenge is to open your minds with me. Let’s wonder why this course is the one we’re navigating. What significance will come to light via the actions of those in the spotlight? #45 knows he is despised because of his hatred and self-serving ways, but it is his narcissism that will deflect and defer all negative attention spewed at him, therefore it makes no sense to spend more of our lives aimed at tearing him down, or anyone else for that matter.

After two months of processing the continued reactions and actions of the Citizens of The United States of America, I have the following unbiased, impartial observation to share:

  • Hate + Hate = Hate
    • Hate cannot be combatted with hate. It just creates more hate. No one is able to entertain a different way of thinking, perhaps one of love, if everyone is focused on hating.
  • Hate + Love = Choices
    • When hate is met with love, it doesn’t necessarily surrender but its impact does dissipate. The conversation changes. It is no longer about someone hating something and someone else hating that someone supports something different than they do.
  • Stop hating – period.
    • The only way that this great, big world of ours is ever going to get and stay better is if we stop hating altogether. Hate is taught, it is not inherent. Hate is not genetic, but it is passed down from generation to generation. You have a choice and by choosing to replace hate with ignorance or love, you break the cycle of demonic behavioral infection that has gripped too many for too long.
  • Change the conversation by your actions
    • Stop violent protests. By all means, protest! But be responsible and be respectful of others and keep your cool. Say what you have to say and represent what you feel but be civil! Stop rioting and setting things on fire. Stop taking our police officers and firefighters away from their families so you can march down the street, yelling at the top of your register. Yes, it feels good to be heard, but it feels even better to do something about how you feel. I keep hearing, “I’m just so angry – I’m so upset – how can people support such hatred?”

Are you against hatred? Then demonstrate love! TAKE ACTION! GIVE LOVE!

Go pay your blessings forward by actively and noticeably treating others with love – no matter who they voted for or side with. We are all affected, we all matter and if we don’t unite WITH GRATITUDE for everything else in our lives, then hatred wins.

Are you going to allow hatred to overtake and consume you and your life?

Come on! Get your friends to actively give love. Get your kids to actively give love.

LEAD BY EXAMPLE. Go sit next to someone who is persecuted by the Media and find out who they are and LEARN about them and how they contribute to your community.

Wear your safety pin and be a beacon of light and love and be welcoming when someone looks like they may need your help or a friend.(Tip – if you don’t want to keep putting holes in your clothes, close the pin and at any craft store you can buy very small, flat, round magnets which you can use a backing for the inside of your shirt or blouse. Wear your safety pin like a name tag.)

“Do unto others…” right? People! This isn’t hard. This is how we’re inherently wired and it’s high time to get back to the core of who we are. We are human beings, we are all here together, we are all here to coexist and to get better, together.

The time for happiness is NOW.

Create Your Ultimate Life with Gratitude – A5 – Part Four

Happy Thursday! I hope that you had an ultimate Wednesday!

Let’s review a couple vital pieces before we continue with A5, okay?

  • Your life is meant to be ultimate.
  • It’s up to you to determine what you need and what you want in your life and as your life in order for you to declare that it is “ultimate.”
  • By living with gratitude, you WILL create your ultimate life!

On Monday, I introduced you to A5 (which is derived from The Bergstrom Method) and its first “fifth” – Accept.

Tuesday, I gave you the second “fifth” which is Adjust.

When acceptance occurs, adjustment begins.

Yesterday, I gave you the third “fifth” to the formula which is: Adapt.

Once we accept something into our conscious thinking, we are admitting that it is a real thing and that it is happening. Because we accept, we are able to adjust our thinking to align our thoughts with the desired life results we wish to experience. Once we adjust our thinking, we begin to adapt to our new life circumstances, which are and always have been the products of our thoughts.

Today is all about the fourth “fifth” which is: Aspire.

To aspire to create an ultimate life with gratitude, you have to know what it is you’re aspiring to achieve, right? You’ve seen in previous posts where I mention the creation process. The act of conscious thinking is what drives the creation process.

What you think about, you bring about.

Because we bring about what we think about, adjusting your thinking from subconscious to conscious thinking will allow you to consciously adjust or adapt your perception of the life results you are experiencing, based on what you have been thinking!

If you aspire to create your ultimate life with gratitude, you must get clear about what you want in and as your ultimate life! You need an outline! I created this for me and I’m so thrilled to share it with you! It’s called The MULO: My Ultimate Life Outline.

The MULO Practice comes from The Bergstrom Method. To begin, we should all make a MULO and revise it as often as possible initially and then at the beginning of each month thereafter. This is a Practice that will never be “done” for being done would mean that one is deceased. This is a Practice that I personally do in order to create my ultimate life! Once you get rolling, there’s no telling how far you will allow your mind to wander and the possibilities of the ultimate life you will create are infinite! (I think you just discovered what your weekend plans are!)

Use the following questions to prompt yourself. You can always edit, you can always revise, you can always add your own questions and you can always make a new MULO, as long as you are thinking consciously. Grab some paper and a pen and get started!

What do you want?

  • What kind of home(s) do you want to have?
  • Do you want to travel? Where?
  • How do you want to travel? By plane, bus, train, car, private aircraft, private yacht?
  • How much money do you want to see in your bank accounts? Pick a number.
  • Where do you want to vacation?
  • What is your life calling you to do with your time?
  • What do you LOVE to do?
  • Where are you when you are your happiest?
  • Do you want a family?
  • Do you want children?
  • Do you want a better body?
  • Do you want to be healthy and fit?
  • Do you want to feel powerful and limitless?
  • Do you want to constantly win at life?
  • Who do you want in your life?
  • Who is your ideal mate?
  • What are three non-negotiables that you require as “musts” for your Ultimate Life?

Ultimate living is being inspired to aspire! What ultimate life will you create for yourself?

Today, I am giving you the third “fifth” to the formula which is: Adapt.

Once we accept something into our conscious thinking, we are admitting that it is a real thing and that it is happening. Because we accept, we are able to adjust our thinking to align our thoughts with the desired life results we wish to experience. Once we adjust our thinking, we begin to adapt to our new life circumstances, which are and always have been the products of our thoughts.

It can be challenging to adapt to a different lifestyle. But when you consider all of the components that you want in and as your ultimate life, the motivation to adapt based on adjusting your thinking becomes your guiding force.

Adapting to your ultimate lifestyle requires the first two “fifths.” When thinking consciously, we can recognize the times during our creative process that we begin thinking thoughts that do not align with our ultimate-desired manifestations. Because we are thinking consciously, we can adjust our thoughts to realign with what we ultimately want. If we are unaware or not thinking consciously, we will not know that we are literally thinking ourselves out of whatever it is that we want.

Adaptation is a change in perception. While we are living each day, we are actively adjusting our attitudes and outlooks. Where you may normally become aggravated or frustrated, you can adjust how you feel. You can consciously think about those situations and adapt to your new thought process by activating your Center of Gratitude. Because you adapt, your outcome changes and thus, your perception of what used to aggravate and frustrate you is now completely different.

Adjust every attitude, with gratitude.

Gratitude is the force that we can all use to immediately adjust every attitude. For example, consider having to stop at red light after red light. Where we may typically find hitting every red light aggravating, we can consciously think and deem these instances as “stop-portunities.”

A “stop-portunity” is a time of pause to consciously think about what we are grateful for. Make it fun and play The Gratitude Game at every “stop-portunity!” By the time you finally reach your destinations, you will feel so wonderful and so fulfilled that whatever is about to take place will reflect and further your wonderful feelings.

Don’t think so? Think about the opposite. You hit every red light, get increasingly angry with each light and by the time you arrive, all you want to do is explode. Yeah – that’s an awesome way to feel; NOT! The next time you arrive at a red light, instead of looking at your phone or returning text messages, allow yourself to be present in the moment by playing The Gratitude Game. Don’t forget – the second you feel great, you are adapting your lifestyle to this awesome feeling! Revel in it!

Accept. Adjust. Adapt.

The fourth “fifth” is released tomorrow! Stick with me and stick with A5. By this weekend, you’ll have a specific guide to creating your ultimate life with gratitude. It is going to become so evident to you that when you implement these five “fifths” you’ll create your WHOLE, ultimate life!

  • By living with gratitude, you WILL create your ultimate life!

Yesterday, I introduced you to A5 (which is derived from The Bergstrom Method) and its first “fifth” – Accept.

“In order to create my ultimate life, I accept that I must first activate my Center of Gratitude. Because I am centered in gratitude, I think wonderful thoughts and feel wonderful feelings. My wonderful thoughts, paired with my wonderful feelings are creating my ultimate life.”

If you can accept this, you can create your ultimate life. Your life circumstances as you see them right now are the results of what you have thought and what you have felt.

Today, I am giving you the second “fifth” to the formula which is: Adjust.

Once we accept something into our conscious thinking, we are admitting that it is a real thing and that it is happening.

When acceptance occurs, adjustment begins.

This is why it is so imperative to accept the fact that your thoughts and feelings are creating the life you are living.

To accept this means that you are accepting the responsibility of conscious control of the outcome of your life. With acceptance comes adjustment, so get ready to make some decisions!

The primary adjustment that comes with acceptance is the decision to think consciously.

Conscious thought differs from subconscious thought because it pertains to the thoughts you literally hear yourself think. These are the thoughts that you are totally tuned into, totally paying attention to and totally feeling. Most of us are unaware that the thoughts and feelings we experience begin on the subconscious level and through our feelings, make their way to the prefrontal cortex.

If we can recognize what we are thinking and feeling, we will be able to easily realize when we are both in and out of alignment with what we have decided we want. Because we are consciously thinking, we can consciously choose to adjust how and what we are thinking and feeling.

Living ultimately is to always create from your Center of Gratitude. If you experienced unkind thoughts earlier today about someone else or had thoughts of dread and misery, you experienced life results that are aligned with what you were thinking about some time prior. The life results you experienced were not in alignment with what you have expressed that you truly want, which is to live ultimately.

By consciously thinking, we can identify and recognize that we experienced the given circumstances because of what we thought and how we felt. By consciously thinking, we are empowered to adjust what we are thinking and how we are feeling to be in better alignment with our ultimate goal.

Adjusting our thoughts is just as important as accepting responsibility for creating your life. What’s the point of accepting responsibility for creating your life if you don’t identify and make the necessary adjustments to achieve your ultimate life?

Accept. Adjust. And the third “fifth” is released tomorrow!

Stick with me and stick with A5!

By the weekend, you’ll have a specific guide to creating your ultimate life with gratitude. It is going to become so evident to you that when you implement these five “fifths” you’ll create your WHOLE, ultimate life!

Create Your Ultimate Life “With Gratitude!” – A5 – Part One

Accept

Happy Monday! I hope that you had an ultimate weekend! If this weekend was not ultimate, what happened?

If you’re not sure, I want to help you make this week and every week after, ultimate!

Let’s get started!

Your life is meant to be ultimate. It’s up to you to determine what you need and what you want in your life and as your life in order for you to declare that it is “ultimate.”

Because determining your specific wants and needs is the gateway to creating your ultimate life, I am going to spend the next five days walking you through a five-part process.

This five-part process is called A5.

It is derived from The Bergstrom Method and is the easiest process to create your ultimate life.

Each day this week, I am going to release a particular fifth of the process. The words in each process are designed with familiarity in mind. It has been found through extensive study, that it is easier to adapt and adjust to new life circumstances when one can find familiar elements to aid them in transitioning to the “new.”

The A5 process, paired with The Gratitude Philosophy (which states that with gratitude, all things are possible) gives each practitioner the mindfulness directives to consciously think from their Center of Gratitude. Conscious thought from a Center of Gratitude is what powerfully attracts the ultimate life circumstances one desires, to them.

The first “fifth” of the process, is Accept.

The “acceptance” I am referring to is the following:

In order to create my ultimate life, I accept that I must first activate my Center of Gratitude. Because I am centered in gratitude, I think wonderful thoughts and feel wonderful feelings. My wonderful thoughts, paired with my wonderful feelings are creating my ultimate life.

If you can accept this, you can create your ultimate life. Your life circumstances as you see them right now are the results of what you have thought and what you have felt.

What we think about and feel about – we bring about.

In order to fully implement and practice A5, you must accept this. Accepting this doesn’t negate anything else you believe in your life – it’s very simply stating that you now understand that your life didn’t and doesn’t just happen to you – it’s happening because of you. You are not a victim – unless you think you are.

The difference between a victim and a victor are the suffixes. “Im” and “or” signify that we have a choice which means we get to choose whether we want to be victims or victors. “I’m either a victim OR a victor.”

If you want to continue through your life whining and moaning about how awful it is and how you can’t seem to get ahead; that thought process will continue to plague you and nothing in your life will ever really change for the better. You will continue feeling like a victim and that is totally your choice.

If you feel like your life is meant to be so much more than it is and/or that you are meant to enjoy every moment and that you can be the writer of your own rules, then YOU are already on the right track and you can solidify your identity as a VICTOR!

Remember – this may be a new concept for you and I expect and want you to be curious about everything I have to share with you. As we go through the week and as the next four fifths are released, clarity will come and with clarity comes understanding and with understanding, comes acceptance.

Create Your Ultimate Life “With Gratitude!” A Five-Part Series

Happy Friday! I hope that you have had the most ultimate week of your life! If this week was not an ultimate week, what happened?

If you’re not sure, I want to help you make next week and every week after, ultimate!

To guide you through the fun process of enhancing your life, I am launching a five-part series on Monday, August 22, called Create Your Ultimate Life “With Gratitude!”

Each day, a new, short and sweet post will show up in your inbox (if you’re a subscriber) or here on the website, introducing you to The Bergstrom Method.

The Bergstrom Method was conceived and developed by me, as it bears my name. Some of the ideology may seem familiar to you or it may be completely fresh. The familiarity will be noticeable in the names of the steps, but it’s my unique approach to the process of consciously living with Gratitude that will teach you how to create your ultimate life!

I’m so excited to share this information with you! I don’t believe that our global population needs “changing” because we are all inherently wonderful. However, I do believe that even the inherently wonderful can benefit from “life enhancement.” Even the most precious silver needs polishing! Imagine how you could feel if you lived in a permanent state of polish! Wow!
